WRITING TIPS

Here are some topics to write about to get your creative juices flowing.

SECRET TO GETTING IN THE WRITING GROOVE . . .

1. Pick a topic, the ones below or something else

2. Start writing it down in a letter to a friend, telling every juicy tid-bit.

3. Don't stop writing until your "letter" is done.

4. Go back and take out anything that slows the reading down

(Stuff that's confusing, vague or too much detail)

5. Have a friend (me) review for spelling, grammar and flow

6. Send your "letter" to me and I'll help you tweak it into an essay you'll love!

Here are some suggested essay topics on PASSION and INNER CALLING

to get your creative juices flowing:

-The joy of doing your job-career stories

-The pride and drive of taking care of your family

-The excitement of traveling for work or pleasure

-The intensity of diving into a creative projects

-The quickly passing moments interacting with children

-The love of bonding with grandchildren

-The heart connection growing in a romantic or professional relationship

-The passion of creating and sharing your vision of a better world

-The fun of sharing a delicious meal with friends

-The sense of accomplishment and pride building, designing, creating and changing something

-Enjoying the fruits of your labor

-Enjoying the fruits of your garden

-Educating others on how to be more politically, globally and/or spiritually connected

-Volunteering for something that focuses your passion

-Helping others succeed, grow, heal, love, understand, appreciate . . .

-Sharing a recent trip or adventure

-Waking up to a new day and experiencing the beauty and magic in your life

-Playing a sport or doing an activity you love

-Experiencing a special or synchronistic moment

-Recognizing a positive change from a class, workshop, movie, conversation, embrace, kudos

-Getting the chance to finally share your passion with your friends, family and new people!

KEEP IT SIMPLE

Make it easy to read and let it speak to the heart.

Two pages double spaced is enough.
